Most of us already know that you should stay within 2 pounds of your ending weight during Phase 3 of the HCG Diet.

However, if for some reason you happen to go above your 2 pound limit, you can do a Steak Day to correct it.

But ladies, what if you gain 2 pounds or more during the Maintenance Phase while on your monthly cycle ... Should you still do a Steak Day?

This can be a little confusing for some. That's because women retain water during that time of the month, which causes them to gain weight. This of coarse is known as water weight.

So the best thing for you to do is wait until after your cycle ends to see if your weight corrects itself.

However, if it doesn't and you find that you are still a little more than 2 pounds over your Phase 2 ending weight, you will want to go ahead and do a Steak Day at that time.

This should give you one less thing to worry about during this stressful time of the month.
