One question that I am constantly being asked is...

"Why would you eat fattening foods for the first 2 days of your diet?"

I know, this does seem kind of backwards - Well not kind of backwards, very backwards! But it's hard to explain to people that haven't yet done the diet or read the HCG Protocol.


So this is what I usually end up telling people who ask that particular question...


Everyone of us have these little fat reserves all throughout our body - And in order to burn the right kind of fat while using the HCG Weight Loss Diet and Hormone Injections - you must make sure to have these Fat Reserves well stocked.


But no matter how you look at it, the HCG Gorge Days are an important part of the diet. They are so important in fact, that if you don't do them correctly it could jeopardize your success for the entire round. But how do you know if you have done the Gorge Days incorrectly? Well, here are 3 ways that you can tell...


3 Signs That You Didn't Gorge Enough


  1. You feel very tired and irritable.
     
  2. You don't lose much weight the first week of being on the 500 Calorie Diet.
     
  3. You feel fine the first week - But during week 2 you are extremely hungry.



If you do experience all 3 of these things together, it could be a good indicator that you didn't gorge enough during your Load Days. But what can you do about it. Well, if you are more hungry than usual, you can eat your fruit and Melba Toast/Grissini Bread-sticks between meals rather than with lunch and dinner.


But the number 1 thing that you can do is... Eat as much high calorie and fattening food as possible during your HCG Gorge Days.

Having a successful round doesn't always mean hitting your target weight.

People seem to get very disappointed in themselves if they don't lose 30 to 40 pounds during a single round of the HCG Diet. But should they be? NO... There are many factors that can come into play when it comes to not hitting your target weight - And some of them you have no control over.

So there is no point in punishing yourself for things that are completely out of your hands. Even when you follow the diet to the letter you still may not hit your target weight.

Things you have no control over on the HCG Diet


  1. Menstrual cycle - You should always try to plan your injections around that particular week, but depending on how many injections you are doing, you may not be able to avoid having your menstrual cycle while on the HCG Diet.
     
  2. How much weight you lose - You can try hard to do the diet correctly and stick to the protocol as close as you possibly can - but in the end, you don't have any control over how fast your body sheds the weight.
     
  3. Plateaus - For the most part you can avoid plateaus by simply sticking to the weight loss protocol. But sometimes we have no control over how long a plateau will last.


Like I have mentioned before, a big part of the HCG Diet is psychological. So getting yourself all worked up over things will do more harm than good. However, there are a few things that you can do to help you have a more successful round.

10 Ways To Have A More Successful Round

  1. Read the entire protocol - Some people think that the HCG Injections are a magic shot that will make them lose weight, so they don't bother reading the entire protocol. Don't be one of these people, read it twice if you have to.
     
  2. Stick to the HCG Diet Protocol - This is the number one thing that you can do for yourself, so make sure that you do it.
     
  3. Drink tons of water - The more water you drink, the more weight you will lose. Just be sure to drink bottled water or use a water filter.
     
  4. Keep an HCG Diet Journal - By keeping a journal, you will be able to pinpoint any mistakes that you are making to help keep the diet running smoothly.
     
  5. Think positive - If you don't have a positive attitude about the diet and it's outcome, you are likely to fall short of your weight loss goal.
     
  6. Eat organic foods - This is one thing that many people overlook, but eating organic foods can make a huge difference in the amount of weight you lose.
     
  7. Find the right dose - If you don't have the right dose of the HCG Hormone, it can't properly assist you in losing the weight.
     
  8. Wait the right amount of time between rounds - If you don't wait the right amount of time before starting another round of the HCG Diet, you will likely build up an immunity to the hormone.
     
  9. Load up on your Gorge Days - Make sure that you don't underestimate the power of the Gorge days. Filling up those fat reserves in your body will help you to lose weight better.
     
  10. Don't cheat - When you cheat while on the HCG Weight Loss Diet, you take the risk of gaining weight. So by cheating you only end up cheating yourself.

Doing these things won't guarantee that you will hit your target weight. But they will help you to get much closer to your goal. Another important thing to remember is... Even if you don't lose a ton of weight, you will likely lose plenty of inches.

I know a woman that willed herself down to a size 2 - I even once knew a man from Nantucket...

Okay I'm joking around, I never knew a man from Nantucket. Alright... since I'm being honest here, I don't really know a woman that willed herself down to a size 2 either - But now that I have your attention let me ask you a question...

Do you think that it's possible to will yourself to lose weight? 

I do - well, somewhat anyways...

I don't know if you could do it on your will alone. But, if you do have a strong will and let's say... the HCG Weight Loss Program, you could probably do better than the average person. Because... I do believe that your mindset has a lot to do with how much weight you lose on this diet.


Dr. Simeons himself even says that HCG Apple Days and Plateau Breakers are mostly done for psychological reasons. So let me ask you this - If a person does an Apple Day and they believe that it will break up their plateau, is it the Apple Day, or the belief that they had in the Apple Day that really breaks up their plateau?

I don't know, but I can tell you what I think - I think that a person can will themselves to do just about anything. I also think that if you take a strong will and the HCG Diet, and put the 2 together, you would have one powerful weight loss method.

Because thinking that you might lose weight, and knowing that you will lose weight - are 2 completely different things. If you know that you can do something, then you'll do it.


So I challenge you to have a strong will and believe that you are going to be successful on the HCG Weight Loss Diet.

Are you interested in using a body cleanse and detox product?

Have you tried something that isn't in the HCG Protocol, but it's working really well for you?

There is no question that the HCG Weight Loss Diet Protocol is strict. There is a ton of information to read and rules to remember. And if you want to get it right you must follow it to the letter. Of coarse like most things, there are exceptions to the rule, and if you have discovered what that exception is for you I say go for it.

Let me explain: Today I was responding to one of my readers' comments - and in the comment she was talking about the HCG Apple Day, which says to eat 5 to 6 apples throughout the day and drink very little water, and she mentioned how during her 1st round when she did an Apple Day she drank hardly any water, like it says to do, but she didn't lose any weight the next day - But when she did an Apple Day on her 2nd round, she drank a lot of water and tea, and she lost almost 2 pounds.

So what is my point?

 
My point is - that sometimes you can find little things that work for you, but they might not be in the HCG Weight Loss Protocol. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying to go re-write the Protocol. - But if you do find some little thing that works good for you, like my reader that I mentioned above, don't be afraid to use it.

Everyone is different, what works great for you might not work so well for me. Just make sure that you don't stray to far from the diet.

Find out what happens if you don't wait the proper time between rounds of the HCG Diet.

One of the main benefits of the HCG Weight Loss Diet is... You have the ability to lose a lot of weight, very fast. In most cases, it's somewhere between 1/2 to 1 whole pound per day - But that's just on an average day; on a good day you might lose much more than that. During my wife's 1st round, she once lost 3 pounds in a 24 period.

That's pretty good, especially when compared to other weight loss programs, where you might only lose 10 pounds throughout the entire month; and that's if you're lucky. This is probably why so many people are turning to the HCG Diet to lose weight. Which consists of a strict 500 Calorie Diet with HCG Hormone Injections.

And depending on how much weight you have to lose, you may need to do more than one round of the diet. If you are one of these people that will end up doing multiple rounds, there is one mistake that you will want to avoid making. And that is...

Not waiting enough time between rounds of HCG Injections.

This is a huge mistake that people seem to make time and time again. They lose a ton of weight during their first round, and this gets them excited for the second one to begin. But unfortunately they jump the gun and start it too soon.

So will happen if you don't wait the right amount of time between rounds?

Well, the main thing that can happen is - you could build up an immunity to the HCG Hormone. This will make it nearly impossible for the diet to work properly, since the HCG is the reason the diet works as well as it does. Without it, your body would start burning lean muscle rather than fat.

HCG helps you to reset and improve your bodies metabolism. If were you to become immune to HCG while on the 500 Calorie Diet, you might lose a little weight, but more than likely you would gain it all back.

How much time to wait between rounds

Between Rounds 1 and 2 you must wait 6 weeks or more
Between Rounds 2 and 3 you must wait 8 weeks or more
Between Rounds 3 and 4 you must wait 12 weeks or more
Between Rounds 4 and 5 you must wait 20 weeks or more
Between Rounds 5 and 6 you must wait 6 months or more

If you wait at least this long between rounds, it will give your body enough time to break down and eliminate the HCG from your system. So make sure that you wait the right amount of time before starting the next round.

Would you like to know if your HCG is real?

Within the past couple of years the HCG Weight Loss Program has made a huge comeback. In fact, HCG is more popular now than it's ever been. Many people see this as an easy way to make money. If you were to simply Google the term Buy HCG, you would see about 1.5 million results.

That's because these days you have so many different HCG Products and brands to choose from. This makes it very difficult to know which one is right for you. What makes it even harder, is the fact that there are a lot of people selling fake HCG online.

Unfortunately, this has become a huge problem. More and more people are claiming that the HCG they ordered online, is fake. But how could they possibly know? Just because someone says it's fake - doesn't mean it really is; right? 

I've actually heard people say that they don't think their HCG is real, when in fact, they ordered it from the same place and even bought the same brand that I purchased in the past - I know this because I was the one who told them where to order it from and even which kind to get.

However, we did still test the HCG to make sure that it was real. Needless to say, it was. This person, who shall remain anonymous, really just needed to increase their dose. After they increased the amount of their HCG Injection from 125 iu to 150 iu, it worked fine - Actually, they went on to lose quite a bit of weight with the HCG they thought was fake.

By now, most of you are probably wondering - How do you test HCG to make sure it's real? Well, it's a lot easier than you might think. You may have even heard about this method somewhere before.

How To Know If Your HCG Is Real

  1. Buy a home pregnancy test.
     
  2. Get your mixed HCG and a syringe.
     
  3. Fill the syringe with about 0.5 cc of your HCG - Or if you are using sublingual drops, fill the dropper with the HCG.
     
  4. Just follow the instructions for the pregnancy test. So basically, you will just drizzle the HCG on the pregnancy test - Do this in the same place that you would normally urinate on it.
     
  5. Then if the pregnancy test comes back positive for being pregnant - you will then know that your HCG is real. On the other hand, if it comes back as negative for being pregnant - the HCG you have purchased is most likely fake. But do the test one more time just to be certain.

Even if the HCG you have is of low quality, the pregnancy test should still show up positive. This is because... most of the pregnancy tests these days, are designed to detect pregnancy very early on. Therefore, even the smallest trace of HCG should bring back a positive result on the test.

However, if you do find out that your HCG is in fact fake, I would contact the person or website that you bought it from, and try to get a full refund. Then, report them right away - even if they give you your money back. This way, you can possibly keep other people from having this happen to them.

Is it better to drink bottled water or is tap water okay to have on the HCG Diet?

The other day one of my readers left a comment here on the HCG Diet 411 Blog. And after I read it I realized that I hadn't really talked about it too much before. So I thought that it would be a great topic to write about today.
In their comment they asked...

Is it okay to drink tap water on the HCG Diet - or does it have to be bottled water?


This is a really good question, because... back when Dr. Simeons created the HCG Weight Loss Protocol, bottled water wasn't as popular as it today. Actually, there were very few stores that even stocked their shelves with bottled water back then. It wasn't until the 1990's that bottled water started to become popular. So it only makes sense that it's not included in the original HCG Protocol.

However, you'll notice that Kevin Trudeau says that you should not drink tap water at all. The only thing is... Buying bottled water every single day can get pretty expensive. Especially during these economic times when most families are struggling.


So I think the best thing to do for you and your wallet would be - Buy a Water Pitcher that filters the water for you. Suzy and I have one and it works great. Besides, most bottled water is just filtered tap water anyway. But I do think that you should at least filter your water.

The good news is that most of the water pitchers with the filters in them, are pretty affordable. I think we got ours for less than $15.00 - which included the first filter. Then every couple of months you would just replace the filter. When you compare that to the cost of bottled water, it's a "No-Brainer". Especially because you are supposed to be drinking so much water on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet.

Either way I do believe that it is important to be drinking filtered water because of all the chemicals that the water treatment plants put into our water these days.


The main chemicals found in tap water are:
  • Chlorine
  • Fluoride
  • Other contaminants (PCBs, THMs, Heavy metals, etc.)

The government started adding chemicals to our water, in order to kill bacteria and diseases. However, the chemicals that they use have been said to cause major health issues.

If you are interested, you will likely find a water pitcher with filter, at places like Walmart or your local hardware store. If you want - you could even get a filter that you can attach right to your sink's faucet.

Are you starting to get discouraged about your progress on the HCG Diet?

One thing that I have noticed with the HCG Weight Loss Diet is - that the first week of weight loss is usually the best. Most people that have successfully completed the HCG Diet, say that they lost more weight in their first week than they in any other week during Phase 2.

This is actually a pretty well known fact among HCG Diet users. However, this doesn't seem to keep people from getting discouraged when weight loss slows down after that first week.

This is usually what happens - The first week of doing the HCG Hormone Injections, you are doing great; you lose 1 or possibly even 2 pounds a day. Then week number 2 starts and you are losing weight, but not nearly as much. By the end of that week you are starting to wonder if you are doing something wrong.


Well, ARE you doing something wrong? Probably Not!


In fact, this is actually pretty normal - especially for women. For some reason men seem to lose about a pound a day consistently throughout the entire diet. Where women tend to fluctuate a little more. A woman will usually lose about 1/2 pound a day; after the first week of coarse.

Here is my theory of why weight loss slows down after the first week...


I think that weight loss slows down after the first week because... The 2 Gorge Days are meant to restore structural fat which is located in reserves all over your body. Having these reserves allows the HCG to help your body start burning the right kind of fat.


So for the first week while those reserves are nice and full, your body will burn fat better, which means you lose weight easier. But by the time the second or third week rolls around, those reserves have start getting low. This means that you are not able burn as many calories as before, which results in less weight loss.


But I think because most men are naturally larger than women, we have more of these fat reserves throughout our body. So I think this is why we consistently lose about a pound a day while on the 500 Calorie Diet.


What can women do about this?


I think by eating more fattening foods and more food in general during your Gorge Days. This should help to get your fat reserves nice and full. You might even try doing a 3rd Gorge day like my wife Suzy did during her third round of the HCG Weight Loss Diet. We believe that this helped her lose quite a bit more weight by doing this.


But of coarse this is just my theory. However, if it makes sense to you too, give it a try. And remember, if you are losing weight you are doing things right. So don't give up.

Learn what causes you to become immune to the HCG Hormone.

The reason that one round of the HCG Hormone Injections will last no longer than 40 injections is... that some people start to show signs of immunity around the 40th injection. It is said that after a certain period of time your body learns how to breakdown and eliminate the HCG Hormone very rapidly.

This is why you should wait at least six weeks after round one, before you start the second round. Keep in mind that it is six weeks between round one and two, but the amount of time to wait between rounds gets longer for each round you do.

The reason that it's so important that you don't become immune to HCG is... if you allow yourself to build up an immunity to the HCG Hormone, your body will start burning "Normal Fat" - It's not that this is a terrible thing, but, when you lose normal fat during a diet you will usually gain it all back when you start eating normal foods again.


If you're doing 40 HCG Injections

People that are doing a round of 40 HCG injections can avoid becoming immune, by skipping 1 shot per week. However, you want to make sure that the day you skip remains the same each week. For example: If you skip your injection on Sunday of the first week, you should skip your shot on Sunday every week thereafter.

If you're doing 23 HCG Injections

For those people that are doing a round of 23 HCG injections, you don't need to worry about skipping any shots at all. When a person does only 23 shots during their round, building up an immunity to the HCG almost never happens.

Also, it's important to make sure that you always wait the proper amount of time between rounds of the HCG Weight Loss Diet.

Using HCG for weight loss - is it a good idea?

These days, there are thousands and thousands of people that use the HCG Weight Loss Program. And although it is helping a lot of people, I think some of those people could do better.

See I believe that some of these people out there that are using HCG for weight loss, have no idea what they are doing. I know that there is a lot of different ways to do the diet these days, and I think that's half of the problem. People are overloading themselves with too much information, which then makes the diet more complicated than it has to be.

But then there are those other people - the ones that just don't take the time to read the HCG Protocol. They think they have the basics down and that they can just wing the rest. I think that the HCG weight loss clinics should make it mandatory that people read the entire protocol before they prescribe them the HCG Hormone shots.

Now keep in mind - when I say Protocol, I mean Dr. Simeons HCG Protocol.

It's my opinion that when a person decides to use HCG for weight loss, they should follow Dr. Simeons Protocol; at least for the first round. Then if they feel like they want to use some other protocol for their second or third round, go for it. This way, if it doesn't work, they will know that it is probably what they are doing that's not working; rather than blaming the HCG Hormone.

Seriously, there are a lot of people out there that say the HCG Weight Loss Diet doesn't work, when in fact it's them that didn't work. Those people decided not to work at the diet, because they thought it was a magic shot - that they could eat anything they want and still lose weight.

Unfortunately, you do have to put some effort into it - a lot of effort actually. But it's worth it! In the end, if you stick to the diet and do it the way it was meant to be done, you will have a better quality of life. You will look and feel better too. So make sure that if you decide to use HCG to lose weight, that you give it your all - Trust me, you will be glad you did.

Would you like to know what the HCG side effects are?

Although I've written about this topic in the past - one question that I still seem to get a lot is... "What are the side effects of HCG?" That is why I am writing this post today; to list the different side effects of HCG Injections. So here they are in no particular order...

HCG Side Effects:

Some side effects that you might experience on the HCG Diet are...


Constipation - This seems to be one of the most common side effects of the HCG Hormone. While you using the HCG Injections you may become a little constipated, which means that you will have less bowel movements than usual.

Dry Skin - Some people report having extremely dry skin while doing the HCG Diet. But I think it's probably because you are not allowed to use your normal lotions. However, Aveeno is safe to use while on the diet.

Hair Loss - Although hair loss is not as common, it is one of the few HCG injection side effects. The amount of hair loss can be compared to a woman losing her hair while pregnant - Which means, the hair loss shouldn't be very noticeable - I think that this would be worse for a person mentally than anything else. But keep in mind that the hair will usually grow back after you stop the HCG injections.

Headaches - You are more likely to get headaches during the first week of the HCG Diet. After that, they should subside. However, if they don't go away on their own, you are permitted to take Asprin.

Trouble Sleeping - Some people have had trouble sleeping while doing the HCG Shots. But if you have this problem, there are a few things that you can do to help you get to sleep at night. You can try going for a walk, taking a hot bath, consider your dosage HCG levels (Possibly too high of dose) - or you can read some more tips in this article about having trouble sleeping on HCG.

Muscle Weakness - It's been said, that some people have experienced muscle weakness from the HCG Injections. While others claim to have more energy than ever.

Have you been using a microwave since starting the HCG Diet?

For the longest time, doctors and health officials alike, have been saying to stay away from microwaves. Even though microwaves are not necessarily bad for your health, just as long as exposure to them is kept to a minimum. Microwaves are used for many kinds of communications, radar and of course for cooking.

Are Microwaves Dangerous?

Microwave ovens can be harmful if exposure to them if the power levels are too high. Now, microwaves are designed to contain the microwave energy to ensure our safety. But, a microwave oven that has been damaged can possibly leak enough microwave energy to cause harm to you.

If that is the case, what does it do to us when we put the food inside of the microwave, heat it up, then take it out and put it into our bodies - It can't be good for you.

Kevin Trudeau talks about this a little bit more inside of his book "The Weight Loss Cure "They" Don't Want You To Know About" - He says not to use a microwave at all.

I have done some research of my own on this subject, and I found one article that said "When we eat food that has been cooked in a microwave - our bodies don't even recognize it as food" I can definitely understand why they would say this.

So should you use a microwave oven while on the HCG Diet?

I would NOT recommend it. If you really want a fast and healthy way to cook your food - use a George Foreman Grill.

If for some reason you can't live without your microwave - at least make it a goal to use it much less than usual.

Do you think it's better to start off at a higher or a lower dose of HCG?

If you were to ask Dr. Simeons - he would most likely tell you that it is better to start at a lower dose of HCG, around 125 iu - 175 iu.


However, if you were to ask Kevin Trudeau that same question, he would probably say that you are better off going with a higher dose, around 175 iu - 200 iu.

But if you ask me - I would have to agree with Dr. Simeons on this one. I think that it is better to start off lower dose of HCG, then increase it if needed. Let me tell you why.

Why I think it is best to start at a lower dose of HCG


The reason I think it is best to start yourself on a lower amount of the HCG Hormone is because, it is much easier to increase your dose, than it is to decrease it.

If you start out at a higher level of HCG, you are likely to build up more of an immunity to it. Then, if you felt like your dose was too strong, for whatever reason, it would be much less effective once you did lower it. But if you start out lower to begin with, around 125 iu like Dr. Simeons suggests, you shouldn't run in to that problem.


Plus, it is my opinion that with a higher dose of HCG, you are more likely to experience stronger side effects like constipation or trouble sleeping. I have even talked to a couple of my readers that said, they did not have much of an appetite because they felt like their dose was too high.

However, if you are under a doctors care, it is always best to discuss with them what the right dose is for you. As for the people who are purchasing their HCG online, this is something that you will want to think about before starting the diet.

NOTE: Whenever you do increase your dose of the HCG Hormone, it is recommended that you only increase it 25 iu at a time. So if you were at 125 iu and you wanted to increase your dose, you would go to 150 iu. Then wait a few days to see how well that works, before you think about increasing it again.

Have you had any trouble sleeping while on the HCG Diet?

One of my readers had recently asked me - why they are having trouble getting to sleep at night, since they've started the HCG Diet.

Actually, this is a pretty common occurrence. This is because the HCG Hormone helps to give you more energy, especially when mixed or taken with the B12 Vitamin. So when you go to bed at night, it takes longer than usual to fall asleep. Some people have a more difficult time staying asleep.

But now that you know why you can't fall asleep on the HCG Diet, the question is, what can you do about it. Here are some little tricks that have helped me...

5 Tips to help you fall asleep and on the HCG Diet

If you are having trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep you should try...

  1. Winding down before you go to bed. Turn off the TV, get in your pajamas and dim the lights about an hour before going to bed. This will tell your mind that it is time for bed.
     
  2. Take a hot bath. Taking a hot bath about a half hour before bedtime, will help to get you more relaxed.
     
  3. Reading a book. After you are all ready for bed, try reading a book in a semi-dark room. Just be sure that you DO NOT read it in bed.
     
  4. Make sure that you aren't watching TV, talking on the phone or using your laptop while in bed. This way when you do lay down in bed, your body and mind will know that it's time to go to sleep.
     
  5. Take a short walk. If you haven't been doing this already, try taking a short walk about 2 hours before you go to bed.
If you can do all of these things together, you will get the best results. However, if you feel like just trying a couple at a time, that should work fine too.


Another thing you might want to ask yourself is - are you getting too much B12 vitamin. If you are taking B12 separately from your HCG injections, try reducing the amount that you are taking.

If you're a man that would like to know how to calculate your body fat - then you should keep reading.

The other day I told all of you women about a way to calculate your body fat for the HCG Diet. So I thought that it would be a good idea to give you men a way to figure out your body fat percentages as well.

The best time to use this formula, is in the morning. Your body weight and waist measurements are the most accurate just after you wake up from having 7 to 8 hours of sleep.

The formula below will not calculate your exact body fat percentage. The most accurate way is underwater weighing, but this formula should give you a consistent measurement that you can use as a guideline. This can at least help you to determine if you're losing body fat.

How Men Calculate Their Body Fat

Factor 1 - Total body weight (Multiplied by) 1.082 (Plus) 94.42
Factor 2 - Waist measurement (Multiplied by) 4.15
Lean Body Mass - Factor 1 (Subtracted by) Factor 2
Body Fat Weight - Total bodyweight (Subtracted by) Lean Body Mass
Body Fat Percentage - Body Fat Weight (Multiplied by) 100 (Divided by) Total bodyweight


Like I said above, this is not an exact science - But it will give you a good idea where you are at and how much body fat you are losing. Or if you want, you can go and try this body fat calculator.

Have you ever vacationed while on Phase 3 of the HCG Diet?

This week I have been on vacation with my wife Suzy and our 2 little boys - Suzy's dad and step-mom are also here with us. We are all staying in a place called Island Park. For those of you that don't know where that is... it's located in Idaho near Yellowstone National Park. We are staying in a huge cabin that sits right on the lake.

Suzy's dad and stepmom had just successfully finished Phase 3, A.K.A. Maintenance - So the HCG Diet was a hot topic of discussion. We talked a lot about how hard it is to try and vacation while on the HCG Diet.

Now in the past, I had written about going on vacation while on the 500 Calorie Diet and HCG Injections - Phase 2 and vacations just don't mix.

But should you vacation while on Phase 3 of the HCG Diet?



It's totally up to you.

Although it's not impossible to stick to Phase 3 while on vacation, it can still be difficult. This is because when people go on vacation, they tend to eat out a lot. And who knows what ingredients and seasonings are being used to cook your food in the restaurant; there is just no way to know.



But if you do find yourself going out of town while on Phase 3 of the HCG Diet remember... Maintenance is a crucial part of the diet! If you don't do this part right, it could compromise everything that you have been working toward. So here is a couple of tips to keep in mind.

5 things to remember if you go on vacation during Phase 3 of the HCG Diet


  1. Eat in moderation. Just because a restaurant brings you a big plate of food, doesn't mean you have to eat it all.
     
  2. Stay away from fast food. If you have to eat out, don't go to a fast food restaurant.
     
  3. If you feel unsure about the food on the menu - order a salad; just ask them to put the dressing on the side.
     
  4. Keep drinking lots and lots of water.
     
  5. The main thing to remember is that you are still on a diet and if you do this part right, it will help you to have a much healthier life.


These 5 things should help you if you can't cook for yourself every single night of your vacation.

Should you be skipping 1 injection of HCG per week?

Did you know that depending on how long you are doing the HCG Diet for, you should possibly be skipping 1 injection every week.


Most HCG Dieters have heard this, but I think that it can be kind of confusing for some. This is how you know if you are one of these people that should skipping 1 injection day every week.


How to know if you should be skipping 1 injection of HCG per week?

Skipping 1 injection per week is recommended for those people who are going to be on the HCG Diet for 43 days. You should also know that the skipped day should always be on the same day of the week. So if you skip Monday's HCG Injection on week 1, keep skipping your injection every Monday from then on.
