Fourteen Days Of The HCG Diet

It's now my wife's fourteenth day on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet, and unfortunately she has hit a "Plateau". For her "Plateau Breaker" she has increased her water intake from 1 Gallon to 1 1/2 Gallons a day. This should knock her off of her Plateau. (To read more about this "Plateau Breaker" Click Here)

There is no shortage of Plateau Breakers to try if you do end up hitting a Plateau on the HCG Diet. For those of you that are not familiar with what a Plateau is, it's when you fail to lose any weight for 24 hours or longer.

The worst thing about hitting a Plateau is that it can be very discouraging. But if you use an HCG Diet Plateau Breaker and stick to the HCG Diet Protocol, you should be back on track by the very next day. If your not you might want to try a different Plateau Breaker.

Hopefully we can get her off of her "Plateau" today.

Day 13 On The HCG Diet

For her 13th day on the HCG Diet my wife did great, she had lost 1 1/2 pounds this morning when she weighed herself.

So far, for her the hardest part of the HCG Diet, is not being able to eat the same thing that everyone else is eating. Cooking for our 2 kids and myself is definitely hard for her, so I try to cook as often as possible. However, my cooking does not compare to my wife's at all.

Today we had a birthday party that we attended for my wife's nephew, she had to bring her own food to the party.

For Her Meals Today She Had

  Breakfast
  • Coffee with Milk and Stevia 
  Lunch
  • 100 Grams of Fish
  • Green Salad
  • An Apple
  Dinner
  • 100 Grams of Shrimp
  • Celery
  • Strawberries
  • Melba Toast
As I have mentioned before, Suzy will usually only eat 1 Melba Toast/Grissini Breadstick a day. We believe that doing this helps her to keep losing weight on a more consistent basis. I will keep you updated on her progress.

Twelve Days On The HCG Diet

It is now the twelfth day on the HCG Diet. Yesterday my wife had an "Apple Day", she ate nothing but apples for the entire day.

It looks like it worked, she had lost 2 pounds when she weighed herself this morning. So like I have said before, if you accidentally slip up and cheat while you are on the HCG Diet, it doesn't mean that you need to abandon the rest of the diet. You can keep going and still lose plenty of weight, but that is not a reason to go cheat either.

Today the diet was back on schedule. After her "Apple Day", my wife went back to following the HCG Diet Protocol.

Today She Ate
   
   Breakfast
  • Coffee with Milk and Stevia
   Lunch
  • 100 Grams of Chicken Breast
  • Spinach
  • Strawberries
   
   Dinner
  • 100 Grams of Beef
  • Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Grapefruit
  • Melba Toast
