HCG Diet Cravings Stopper

Would you like to know a way that you can stop those sugar cravings?

While on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet you are bound to have food cravings; especially if your around a lot of other people who aren't doing the HCG Diet. Knowing how to fight these cravings could mean the difference between success and failure.

For the most part the HCG Hormone Injections along with the 500 calories that you do eat, will keep will you from getting too hungry. However, there will be those times when you feel like you need something a little bit more.

Don't worry this is totally normal, just as long as it's not everyday that you feel like this. If you do feel extremely hungry on a daily basis, you may want to consider increasing your dose of HCG Hormone, like we discussed in the "Reasons To Increase Your HCG Hormone Dose" post.

If it is just an occasional feeling of extreme hunger, it's a good idea to have an HCG Diet Approved snack that can be thrown together real quick. One thing that you should always have the ingredients for is what I call, HCG Lemon Vanilla Slushies. These are very easy to make.

Now this may seem like it wouldn't fill you up, but part of it is psychological. Just the act of eating something even if it is just flavored ice, can help curb your hunger in a big way. Try it the next time you get a food craving and you'll see what I mean.

Here are the instructions...

HCG Lemon Vanilla Slushies

You will need:
  • A Bunch of Ice
  • The Juice From 1 Whole Lemon
  • Vanilla Flavored Stevia
Directions: Throw all of these ingredients into a blender and blend until the ice is good and crushed.

Suggestion: Try adding a Strawberry or some different flavored Stevia.

That's it, simple yet tasty.

Do you know of any good craving stoppers?

  3. I will try your lemon slushie but I drink tea, Water and lemon water all day and I'm still hungry and craving all the bad stuff bad!!! Especially Chocolate. Can we have hot drinks on this diet? If so maybe I will get some chocolate flavored Stevia and have Hot Chocolate or Iced Chocolate. Also I am currently on 200iu which is a 0.5 injection (the highest they say you're suppose to go) but still having a hard time. It is my 6th day which includes my gorge days. HELP!!!! I have also read that for these problems you can take 1/4 tsp of L-Glutamine under you tongue and let it disolve and your cravings in 15 min, haven't tried it. Also L-trypotophan is suppose to stop the desire for carbs. I got a bottle of both but haven't tried either. The L-Trypotophan says on the bottle it is to help with sleep and I don't want to be tired. So not sure about that one. Lastly what about eating the miracle noodles in between meals? I heard this is considered a free food.

  4. Thanks for commenting everyone,

    Crystle,

I know how you must feel. One thing you might want to try is Zantrex 3 from GNC.

I haven't found anything in the HCG Protocol that says you can't have diet pills. My wife used them on all 3 of her rounds on the HCG Diet and they really worked well for her.

And the answer is YES, you can have hot drinks
on the diet. Coffee is great for the HCG Diet.

    I hope this helps.

  6. Hey thanks for your question,

This is in response to "Anonymous",

"what about eating the miracle noodles / shirakiku brand yam noodles in between meals? I heard this is considered a free food."

Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about these noodles. The general rule is, if it's not in the "HCG Diet Protocol" don't eat it.

However, I think there are a lot of things that aren't in the HCG Diet Protocol that you could still get away with eating.

So if you think you can get away with adding the "Miracle Noodles" to your diet, give it a try and if you stop losing or start gaining, stop eating them.

I hope this answers your question. Thanks for your comment!

Cheese On The HCG Diet - Is It Allowed?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...

How The Hypothalamus Works

What the Hypothalamus Gland does and why it's so important to fix it... The Hypothalamus Gland is located directly below the Thalamus which is at the center of the brain. It controls many automatic functions of the human body. So this means that it can tell the autonomic nervous system what to do. The Hypothalamus also controls pituitary output by distributing certain chemicals to the pituitary's frontal lobe. To put it more simply, the Hypothalamus Gland organizes and controls many complex emotions, feelings and moods. It also controls all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities. The neurons in the Hypothalamus produce a number of Hypothalamic Neurotransmitters which relay information and instruction to all parts of the brain and body, directly influencing the Pituitary Gland. This is where the Growth Hormone, Thyroid Hormone Releasi...

HCG Diet Dangers

HCG Diet Dangers - Are there any? And if so, what are they? So what are the dangers associate with the HCG Diet? If you were to Google the term " HCG Diet Dangers ", you would get a bunch of sites trying to sell you something related to the HCG Diet. A lot of the websites that you will run into trying to find the answer to this question, are nothing more than marketers using fear tactics to get you to buy their product. So try not to get pulled in by this sort of thing. The truth is there are some HCG Diet Dangers, but they're probably not as bad as you think. In fact, some of them are human errors that make this method of weight loss the most dangerous. I'm talking about things like getting an infection from not cleaning your syringe. While getting an infection from a syringe is a danger that is associated with the HCG Diet, it is a mistake that a human makes that causes it. Therefore, the danger can be eliminated if you can only remember to use alcohol pads...
