How Long Should You Do The HCG Diet For

One of the most common questions I hear is... How long should I do the HCG Diet For? And really there is not a simple answer to give to them. So I decided to write a small article to answer this very question.

How Long Should You Do The HCG Diet For?

People who need to lose 15 pounds or less require at least 26 days of treatment with 23 daily hormone injections. The three extra days are needed because everyone who does the HCG Diet must continue on the 500 Calorie Diet for three days after their last hormone injection.

This is a very crucial part of the treatment, because if you do go back to eating normally while there is even a trace of the HCG Hormone in your body, you will gain weight at the end of the treatment.

After three days when all of the HCG has been eliminated this does not happen, because the blood is no longer saturated with food and can then accommodate an extra influx from the intestines without increasing its volume by retaining water.

If you're wondering if you should do the HCG Diet longer 26 days, just keep in mind that the maximum amount of time that you are able to go for is 40 Hormone Injections. Unless you hit your target weight before you do all 40 injections.

Even for people who want to lose only 5 or 6 pounds, the least amount of time that they can do the diet for is 26 days. Which of coarse would have just 23 injection days.

However if you only want to lose 5 or 6 pounds, I think there are probably more simple ways to do it. But that's just my opinion, and no-one came here for that. Right?

What was the most weight that you lost in a single month? Tell me in a comment. Thanks for stopping by the HCG Diet 411 Blog.
