Gout On The HCG Diet

It's no question that Gout can be painful for the people that it affects, but do you know what you can do about it while on the HCG Diet?

For those of you that might not know what Gout is...

Gout is a kind of arthritis that occurs when uric acid builds up in the joints:
  • Acute gout is a painful condition that typically affects one joint.
  • Chronic gout is repeated episodes of pain and inflammation, which may affect more than one joint.
Symptoms of acute gouty attacks:
  • Symptoms develop suddenly and usually involve only one or a few joints. The big toe, knee, or ankle joints are most often affected.
  • The pain frequently starts during the night and is often described as throbbing, crushing, or excruciating.
  • The joint appears warm and red. It is usually very tender
  • There may be a fever.
  • The attack may go away in several days, but may return from time to time. Additional attacks usually last longer.

Gout On The HCG Diet

It has been reported that some people that suffer from Gout, can have a bad attack within the first few days of starting the HCG Diet. However, that will usually subside after a couple of days and not come back for the rest of that round.

But those people that have had to do more than one round say that they get the same type of flare up as soon as they start the next round.

One thing that has been said to completely stop attacks from happening throughout the HCG Diet is... 2 tablets daily of ZYLORIC. Keep in mind that this is one of those things that you SHOULD talk to your doctor about.

Do you or anyone you know suffer from Gout?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...
