Today I have another great recipe for Phase 2 of the HCG Diet.
I found that on the 500 calorie part of the diet, my wife and I would eat chicken more than any other source of protein. So it was always nice to have a good recipe to change it up a little bit. But this one here is one of my all-time favorites.
HCG Tarragon Chicken
Here's what you'll need...
- 100 grams - Chicken Breast
- 1/4 cup - Chicken Broth
- 4 Thinly Sliced - Onions
- Tarragon - Chopped
- Tarragon Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
- Lightly salt and pepper both sides of chicken.
- Pace the slices of onion inside the bottom of a square pan.
- Lay the chicken on top of the onions.
- Gently pour Tarragon Vinegar over chicken.
- Pour broth in pan - but not on the chicken itself.
- Sprinkle the Tarragon Leaves over the top of the chicken.
- Let it marinade for about 30 minutes.
- Cook in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
- Enjoy!
