How They Get HCG Out Of Urine

One of the biggest responses that I hear from people when I talk about the HCG Diet is - "Do you know where HCG comes from?"

My answer to that question is - "Yes I do"

Like I mentioned in my article yesterday - It's not pee! Well not entirely anyways. Yes, it's true, the hCG Hormone is extracted from the urine of pregnant women. But, when you do the HCG Hormone Injections, you are not actually injecting the urine itself.

How Do They Get HCG Out Of The Urine?

Yesterday, I came across a website that explained the exact scientific process. This is how it was described.

"Urine from 2–3 months pregnant women obtained from Rajavidhi Hospital during December 1986 to July 1987. HCG was extracted by precipitation with acetone at the ratio of 1 part urine and 2 parts acetone, shaken for 10 min kept at 4°C, and the clear solution poured out.

The precipitable part was collected by centrifuge at 4,000 rpm for 10 min and then filtered through Whitman No. 41. The precipitate was kept at 4°C until used. The crude HCG freeze dried for 20 hrs. HCG was kept in vial with 0.01 gm/vial. The concentration of HCG was measured by Double Antibody Quantitative HCG Radioimunoassay."

As you can see, the hCG is completely extracted from the urine - So it's not pee that you are injecting, it's the hormone!

Did you know that hCG came from the urine of pregnant women?
