Trouble Eating On The HCG Diet?

Are you unable to eat on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet?

Most people on the HCG Low Calorie Diet eat their meal and are left still wanting more. But then there are a small number of HCG Diet users that are basically forcing themselves to eat.

Why is this?

I feel, that in a lot of these cases where people seem to have no appetite the HCG Hormone is doing it's job, but maybe a little too well. I have actually talked to a few of these people, and they say that they really have no desire to eat.

But is this Good or Bad?

On one hand - I really think that this can be a good thing. Because, one of the biggest reasons that people cheat on the HCG Diet is, they just don't feel like they're getting enough to eat.

So if you feel like you already have to force yourself to eat the bare minimum, you are going to be less likely to stray away from the diet.

But on the other hand - If you are NOT eating because you have no appetite this can be bad. Because you are on such a VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) your body relies on those 500 calories a day to get its fuel.

If you're not eating those 500 calories everyday, you may not be able to perform your daily tasks because you have no energy.

What To Do If You Have Trouble Eating On The HCG Diet

  • Spread Your Food Out - If you feel like it's too hard to eat an entire meal at one time, spread it out throughout the day. Have a piece of fruit for breakfast instead of with your lunch. You might also try eating your Grissini Bread-Sticks as snacks in between meals.

  • Cut Your Fruit Out Completely - The protocol says that if weight loss slows way down you can remove your fruit from one or both meals. So if you are having a hard time eating all of your food, this would be okay to do now.

  • Create Tasty Recipes - You will be more likely to eat your food if it is something that looks and smells delicious. So get some good recipes that you won't be able to resist.

  • Force Yourself - If worse comes to worse and nothing else is working, force yourself to eat.

I don't want to sound like your mother here, but, it is very important that you eat your protein and vegetables every single day. So if nothing else, just make sure that you are eating those 2 things.

On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...

How The Hypothalamus Works

What the Hypothalamus Gland does and why it's so important to fix it... The Hypothalamus Gland is located directly below the Thalamus which is at the center of the brain. It controls many automatic functions of the human body. So this means that it can tell the autonomic nervous system what to do. The Hypothalamus also controls pituitary output by distributing certain chemicals to the pituitary's frontal lobe. To put it more simply, the Hypothalamus Gland organizes and controls many complex emotions, feelings and moods. It also controls all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities. The neurons in the Hypothalamus produce a number of Hypothalamic Neurotransmitters which relay information and instruction to all parts of the brain and body, directly influencing the Pituitary Gland. This is where the Growth Hormone, Thyroid Hormone Releasi...
