Is It Okay To Start Phase 3 Before Your 23 HCG Days Are Up?
Usually a typical round on the HCG Weight Loss Diet will last between 23 to 40 days. It is then followed by 3 days of the 500 calorie diet after stopping the HCG. You then move onto Phase 3, which is also known as Maintenance.
However, things don't always work out the way they are supposed to. Sometimes, for various different reasons, a person will have to cut the diet short.
But is it really a good idea to stop the diet before your 23 HCG days are up?
Absolutely not!
It is never a good idea to do the HCG Diet for less than 23 days. Not only that, but 23 days is the minimum amount of time that the protocol allows.
Some people believe that if they have lost a good amount of weight the diet is over - This couldn't be further from the truth.
Losing weight is just a small part of what the HCG Diet does for you. Like most diets out there, if you don't follow the plan after the program ends, you will likely gain all of the weight back that you had previously lost.
Now if you plan to do a 40 day round the HCG Diet and you have to stop somewhere in between your 23rd and 40th day, that would be fine. Just be sure to follow the protocol when you do decide to end the diet.
In case you are unaware of what the protocol says to do, you are supposed to stop taking the HCG Hormone, but continue the 500 Calorie Diet for 3 days before starting Phase 3.
And keep in mind, Phase 3 is just as important as Phase 2 - Because if you don't keep the weight off, what good is it to do the diet in the first place.
