A Painful Way Lose Weight

Trust Me, This Is One Way That You Don't Want To Lose Weight!

I'm sure that I have mentioned many times in the past that I am the proud father of 2 amazing little boys - Aiden who just turned 6 a few days ago, and Tyson who is now 11.

Well just this past week, Tyson had to have his tonsils removed - They were so big that they caused him to not get enough oxygen when he slept.

This meant he wasn't getting enough sleep at night, which would make it hard for him to concentrate and stay focused in school. His doctor said that having his tonsils removed would help to cure this sleep apnea that he has been suffering from.

Now for the past few months leading up to his surgery, Tyson had started gaining a few extra pounds, but still he was in no way overweight - However, because he is to that age where he is caring more and more about his appearance, this was starting to become quite a concern for him.

However, with the removal of his tonsils this week, the doctor has had him on liquids and soft foods only; things like jello, mashed potatoes, pudding, soup, etc. - But because his throat has been so soar, he hasn't felt much like eating at all. This of coarse has caused him to lose some of that extra weight that he has been so worried about.

In fact, throughout this past week he has lost a whopping 8 pounds. But it's a pretty painful way to lose weight, don't you think.

Well needless to say, this is not something I would recommend doing just to lose weight - So hopefully this post doesn't give you any crazy ideas. I would hate to hear that a bunch of my readers had their tonsils removed in an effort to lose a few extra pounds. Most of you have probably had this procedure done anyway.

Now obviously I don't really think any of you are crazy enough to run out and do this for no reason. I just wanted to point out that there are much more painful ways to lose weight than the HCG Diet. Plus, if my 11 year old son can endure this level of pain, I know that all of you will have no problem making it through an entire round of the HCG 500 Calorie Diet.

So the next time you feel like you can't go on, just remember, it could be a lot worse, you could be in so much pain that you don't want to eat anything at all!

Have you had to have your tonsils out yet?

As always, I would love to hear what you think - So please be sure to tell me your thoughts in a comment below.

Cheese On The HCG Diet - Is It Allowed?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...
