Should The FDA Have The Last Say When It Comes To Choosing Your Diet?
Like I mentioned before, I get a lot of emails from readers on a daily basis, and sometimes I like to talk about their questions in a post.
Today I wanted to address another common question and concern that I have received from readers in the past.
This has to do with the HCG Hormone not being FDA approved for dieting.
The last time I received this question in an email it went something like this...
First of all, I completely understand your concern. But no, the HCG Hormone is not unsafe to use. Actually, HCG is a natural hormone that is largely present in a woman's body during pregnancy.
In fact, the HCG Hormone is not only used for weight loss, but it's used for fertility and even to help young men start puberty.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should totally ignore the FDA, because you shouldn't. But there are plenty of things out there that have not been approved by the FDA that people use every single day.
More importantly, you may want to think about the drugs that have been approved for weight loss... I'm talking about drugs like Phentermine. This is one weight loss pill that has has a lot of unwanted side effects - Things like changes in sex drive; constipation; diarrhea; difficulty sleeping; dizziness; dry mouth; exaggerated sense of well being; headache; impotence; nervousness; over-stimulation; restlessness; sleeplessness; upset stomach.
If you ask me, I would rather use HCG for weight loss any day compared to this drug.
But in the end you are the one that has to decide if the FDA is going to have the last say when it comes to your weight loss diet!
