Another Reason To Lose Weight With The HCG Diet

Does Obesity Further Complicate H1N1?

With Flu season upon us, it's off to the doctor we go to get a flu shot. But is there something else we could do to avoid another outbreak of the H1N1 virus?

Maybe - I'm of coarse talking about losing weight. Today I watched a clip of The Early Show taped back in November 2009, where Dr. Holly Phillips, of WCBS-TV, and Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith, sat down to discuss the connection between obesity and the complications it can cause in conjunction the H1N1 virus.

This is what Dr. Phillips had to say about it...

"Of the 268 hospitalized patients for whom we had weights, actually 58% of them were obese. And 25% of that group were considered morbidly obese. Now, that's more than 100 pounds overweight, so they were significantly overweight and they were at five times increased risk of complications from the H1N1 flu than the general population."

I too thought this was very alarming. So I wanted to go ahead and share this video clip with all of you.

Obesity Can Further Complicate H1N1!

Now keep in mind, even though this was almost 2 years ago, studies have been done to further support what they already knew back then.

So if you ask me, this is just one more great reason to jump on board the HCG Diet bandwagon.

What do you think of this video?

As always, I would love to hear what you think - So please be sure to tell me your thoughts in a comment below.
