So You Cheated On Thanksgiving And Now You've Hit A Plateau!
It seems that during the Thanksgiving holiday we had many HCG Dieters stray away from the 500 Calorie Protocol.
However, this comes as no surprise to me. In fact, you might remember me writing about all of the emails and comments from people telling me how they plan on cheating during Thanksgiving dinner.
None the less, these people are reaching out for help. Apparently, for some people, their little cheating escapade has caused a bit of a stall in their weight loss. Which has us asking the question...
What should you do if your Thanksgiving cheat caused you to plateau?
Well as many of you already know there are a number of different plateau breakers that you could try.
However, for some people using a traditional plateau breaker may not be enough to correct their stall.
Why you ask?
Well, it's mainly because of all those calories. Like I mentioned in my post the other day, the University of Michigan Health System reports that the average Thanksgiving dinner can contain anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 calories; which And is probably pretty accurate. When you think about it, the portion sizes are usually huge, and the fact that most people go back for seconds or even thirds of the actual meal and then they do the same for desert, thats a lot of food.
With that amount of calories it can be hard for a person to simply bounce right back. So try not to act too surprised if it takes a couple of days to start losing again.
I know, a couple of days can seem like forever on this diet. But don't say I didn't warn you ... I tried to tell everyone that there's a healthier way to cheat.
But if you decided not to follow my Thanksgiving guide to cheating, and you ended up hitting a plateau, you may want to try this...
