I Just Had To Tell Someone

Now I hope you don't mind, but today I'm going to stray away from the topic of HCG ... In fact, this story has nothing to do with weight loss or dieting at all.

Have you ever heard that when a person receives good service from a company or business they tell 1 or 2 people, but when they have a bad experience they tell about 10 or 20 people?

Well today I want to change those statistics around a bit by telling all of you about an awesome experience that I had with an automotive repair shop.

And the reason I think that my experience is so important to share is because auto shops and mechanics generally have a bad rap for being dishonest.

But after you hear my story you might think differently about one of those auto shops at least...

As some of you may or may not know, I am the internet assistant for BMW here in Salt Lake City Utah. And right across the street from my work there is an automotive repair shop called Big O Tires.

Well as I was driving to grab some lunch today, I noticed a big rattling sound coming from underneath my car. After hearing this noise a few times both my co-worker and I thought that it would be wise to have a mechanic take a look at it.

So that's exactly what I did. I took it right on over to Big O Tires and told them what was going on; then I went back to work.

A little less than an hour later they called me and told me that my car was fixed and that I could come back and pick it up. When I got there, before I had the opportunity to ask them what the problem was, they proceeded to tell me that a big rock was lodged up in between my exhaust pipe and the under carriage of my car.

They said that they simply removed the rock and the rattling noise went away. I was very happy to hear that it wasn't something major. Especially because they could have told me that my car was falling apart and that I would need some expensive part to fix it. But they didn't.

So after telling me that my car was fine and that I was free to go, I asked them how much I owed them ... This is when I got the shock of a lifetime, he told me that there was no charge!

Needless to say I was blown away. Not only is this place honest, but they didn't even charge me for figuring out the problem; however small it may have been.

So if any of you need a good honest repair shop to take your vehicle to in Salt Lake City, head on over to Big O Tires on 4800 S. State Street.

Important Note: I know that not all other mechanics are dishonest, because there are a lot of good ones out there. However, I think that we can all agree that a large number of them do overcharge the "crap" out people for car repairs!

Have you ever had a bad experience with a mechanic or automotive repair shop before?

As always, I would love to hear what you think - So please be sure to tell me your thoughts in a comment below.

Cheese On The HCG Diet - Is It Allowed?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...

How The Hypothalamus Works

What the Hypothalamus Gland does and why it's so important to fix it... The Hypothalamus Gland is located directly below the Thalamus which is at the center of the brain. It controls many automatic functions of the human body. So this means that it can tell the autonomic nervous system what to do. The Hypothalamus also controls pituitary output by distributing certain chemicals to the pituitary's frontal lobe. To put it more simply, the Hypothalamus Gland organizes and controls many complex emotions, feelings and moods. It also controls all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities. The neurons in the Hypothalamus produce a number of Hypothalamic Neurotransmitters which relay information and instruction to all parts of the brain and body, directly influencing the Pituitary Gland. This is where the Growth Hormone, Thyroid Hormone Releasi...

If you were to Google the term " HCG Diet Dangers ", you would get a bunch of sites trying to sell you something related to the HCG Diet. A lot of the websites that you will run into trying to find the answer to this question, are nothing more than marketers using fear tactics to get you to buy their product. So try not to get pulled in by this sort of thing. The truth is there are some HCG Diet Dangers, but they're probably not as bad as you think. In fact, some of them are human errors that make this method of weight loss the most dangerous. I'm talking about things like getting an infection from not cleaning your syringe.
