Is The HCG Diet Going Away?
With the recent announcement that the FDA may be halting the sale of Homeopathic HCG products by certain companies, there has been a widespread panic that the HCG Diet will exist no more.
But the fact that people are so upset should come as no surprise to anyone. Over the past few years the HCG Weight Loss Program has become very popular among dieters. And with the ability to lose up to a pound or more per day, who wouldn't love this diet.
But is there really any cause to be concerned? Could the HCG Diet actually be going away?
Honestly, I don't think so. It seems to me that the FDA is more or less targeting the manufacturers and providers of Homeopathic HCG.
From what I understand, Homeopathic HCG does not fall under the category of a Homeopathic Drug. Therefore it cannot advertise itself as such.
So I wouldn't worry about it too much ... The HCG Diet has been around for quite some time, and my guess is it will be around for a long time to come.
However, as always, I would recommend using Pharmaceutical HCG when doing this diet ... Without it, it's just another low calorie diet!
