When Not To Do A Steak Day!

So Women, Do You Know When You Should Put Off Doing A Steak Day During Phase Three?

Now we all know that the goal of Phase 3 is to Stabilize and Maintain your new healthier weight; hence the name Maintenance.

Of coarse, if the diet is done correctly, you should be able to stay within 2 pounds of your Phase Two ending weight. 

But, the HCG Protocol states that if for some reason you are to gain more than 2 pounds from your weight as of the last day of HCG Injections, drops or pellets, you should then do what is referred to as a Steak Day.

And for those of you that are wondering, a Steak Day basically consists of skipping breakfast and lunch, drinking lots of water throughout the day, and eating a huge steak for dinner. You are permitted to have an apple or a raw tomato with your steak as well.

However, there is at least one situation that you would not do an HCG Diet Steak Day even if you do gain 2 or more pounds.

So When Should You Put Off Doing A Steak Day During Phase 3?

You should probably hold off on doing a Steak Day while on your Menstrual Cycle.

Here's the scenario: You start your menstrual cycle during phase 3, which causes you to retain water - You then gain a couple of pounds. But now you are not sure whether the water retention is contributing to the 2 pound gain.

So rather than doing a Steak Day right away, wait until after your cycle is complete to determine if it was simply water weight that caused the recent fluctuation on the scale.

9 times out of 10 you will probably not need to worry about doing a Steak Day to get your weight stabilized.
