Bathroom ScaleWith so many people experiencing success with the HCG Diet, it's no longer a secret that you can lose a ton of weight in just a short period of time.

But Exactly How Much Weight Can You Lose On The HCG Diet?


This is the Million Dollar question that's on everyone's mind. Now I'm sure most of you have heard that you will lose 1 pound per day with the HCG Diet - But how realistic is this claim, and is possible to lose even more?


The truth is not everyone will be able to lose 1 pound per day -- Actually there are many different factors that decide how much weight a person will lose from day to day on the HCG Diet.


For example, a person that has 100 pounds to lose will likely experience a higher rate of weight loss, compared to someone who only has 30 pounds to lose.


Another thing to consider is gender - That's right, the majority of the time men usually lose more weight on a day to day basis than women. In fact, for women it is more accurate to say that the rate of weight loss is in between 1/2 to 1 pound per day.


But Is 1 Pound Per Day As Good As It Can Get?


No - Actually, it's not all that uncommon for someone to lose more than 1 pound during the coarse of a day on the HCG Diet. But typically you are going to see men, and those people who have a lot of weight to lose, drop the most pounds.


However, that doesn't mean that everyone else is incapable of having a successful round with a ton of weight loss.


Plus, it's important to remember that regardless of gender, your weight, or how much you have to lose, your daily weight loss is likely to fluctuate.


For example, you may have an entire week of losing 1/2 pound per day, then suddenly lose 2 pounds for three days straight.


Or it may be the other way around, someone with a lot of weight to lose may be dropping 1 1/2 pounds per day consistently, but then they go down to less than 1 pound per day for an entire week.


So How Much Weight Can You Really Lose On The HCG Diet?

When all is said and done, your weight loss should average out to be approximately 1 pound per day for most people. However, it is still very possible for a person to lose upwards of 40 pounds during a 23 day round.


Needless to say, if you are unable to hit your target weight with a 23 or 40 day round and plan on doing another, be sure to wait the proper amount of time before starting the next round of the HCG Diet.


Tips for a successful round:



  • Do Phase 1.
  • Read the protocol front to back and stick to it.
  • Only use real HCG
  • Gorge properly.
  • Weigh your food.
  • Don't cheat.
  • Stay positive and try not to get discouraged if you have a bad day.

Doing these things are important if you want to increase your chances of weight loss success.


But keep in mind, no matter how much weight you lose it doesn't mean a thing if you don't take the steps to keep it off.


Remember, the HCG Diet is not just a diet, it's a way of life!
