When it comes to the HCG Diet, anything that can help make your food taste a bit better will most definitely increase your chances of being successful and sticking to the protocol.
So when I came across this HCG Recipe for Salsa in our very own HCG 411 Forum, I thought that it would be a good idea to draw a little attention to it.
Now although I have posted recipes for HCG Approved Salsa in the past, it's my philosophy that life is always better when you have a little variety -- Especially when you are on a diet that gives you little variety at all.
So thanks to one of our fabulous forum members, Birdlady56, we now have a couple different options to choose from when spicing up our HCG Meals.
This recipe sounds absolutely tasty! The best part is you could really use it with any number of HCG Foods.
And if you prefer taking a less spicy approach, I am sure that you can leave out one of the Jalapeno Peppers and the seeds.

HCG Diet Salsa
"This is my recipe for salsa, I make it, freeze it in ice cube trays and then pop into a zip-lock bag in the freezer, I take my frozen white fish and place in a aluminum foil with 2 salsa "ice cubes" seal it up and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
I hand chop the ingredients because I love to cook and I enjoy working in the kitchen but it would work well with a food processor.
Here's what you'll need...
3 cans no added salt hunts diced tomatoes
chop and add:
1 red onion
4 garlic cloves
1 yellow or red pepper
3 celery stalks
2 large jalapeno peppers (I left the seeds in 1 but I like spicy)
handful of fresh cilantro
juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/8 cup Bragg's amino acid
2 tbls Mrs. dash garlic and herb
2 tsp cumin
Directions: Mix all together and refrigerate, will keep 3-4 days in fridge, 4-5 months frozen.
Hints: I have a bullet blender and it has a blade for grinding seeds, I take my Mrs. Dash and run it in the bullet to make it finer."
