What If You Cheat On An HCG Apple Day?

What Happens If You Cheat On An HCG Diet Apple Day?

Carmel AppleAn HCG Apple Day is performed when your weight stalls and doesn't start back up again on its own during Phase 2 of the HCG Diet. This is known as a Plateau or as some like to call it, an HCG Stall.

But whatever its name is, having your weight loss slow down or stop completely while on the HCG Diet can be down right infuriating.

Another irritating aspect of these weight loss stalls is the fact that they can be caused by any number of different things.

For example, a few of those reasons might be: Not following Dr. Simeons HCG Protocol close enough, using products that contain oil, or even not getting enough sleep can cause a person to possibly plateau.

However, I would have to say that the most common reason for an HCG Stall is cheating. But no matter what the cause is, an Apple Day is probably the best known way to break up your Plateau.

But What If You End Up Cheating On The HCG Apple Day?

Well first of all, if you are doing an Apple Day because your weight loss has stalled as a result of you cheating on the 500 Calorie Diet, I would say you have issues with commitment.

Seriously though, this can be a bit of a problem, unless of coarse we can get you to stop cheating long enough to fix it.

I mean come on, you didn't honestly think that you could really eat 6 candy apples for your HCG Apple Day did you?!?

Okay, I'm done. All kidding aside, if you did cheat on your HCG Apple Day, try not to be too hard on yourself, it happens. The worst thing that you can do is stress out and start thinking that you are doomed.

You are not doomed! So relax a bit ... But you do have to stop cheating. I'm sorry, but those are the rules.

Now, let's assume for the sake of this HCG Blog article that you did the Apple Day the way it was supposed to be done, except for the cheating part. What now?

What To Do After You Cheat On Your HCG Apple Day:

1. You have to forgive yourself and forget about it. Being all stressed out about it won't do you a bit of good.

2. Don't try doing another Apple Day. You should NEVER do 2 Apple Days back to back; even if you did cheat on the first one.

3. Go back to the 500 Calorie Diet Plan for the next 2 days.

4. Spend a little bit of time getting refocused on succeeding with the HCG Diet Program. You may want to read the HCG Protocol again.

5. While on the VLCD, don't cheat.

6. If your weight loss doesn't resume after those 2 days you can consider doing another Apple Day. However, this time you may want to use a different Plateau Breaker altogether. Even though the Apple Day is by far the most popular, there are actually quite a few different ways to break up an HCG Stall.

7. You may also want to add a brisk walk to your daily routine to help get things back on track a bit faster. A little exercise has been known to speed up weight loss on the HCG Diet.

Now if you do decide that you want to make another attempt at doing an HCG Apple Day, make sure that you are doing it correctly.

Rules Of The HCG Apple Day:

1. An Apple Day should always begin at lunch time and continue for 24 hours until lunch the following day.

2. You are allowed to have a total of 6 large apples throughout the course of the entire day.

3. You can eat the Apples anytime you feel hungry or have the urge to eat.

4. The only liquid that you should really drink is water. However, you should only drink just enough to quench your thirst; that is if you are still thirsty after eating an apple. Most people don't feel the need for very much water during an Apple Day.

NOTE: If you are using sublingual HCG Drops or Pellets you can perform an Apple Day at anytime. But if you are doing the diet with HCG injections, you should NEVER start an Apple Day on a day that you don't take your shot.

Dr. Simeons says that Apple Days are done for purely psychological reasons. But be that as it may, they work!

So be sure that you are trying your hardest to stay strong and avoid giving in to your temptations. Besides, the cheat is never really as good as you think it's going to be ... Right?!?

Cheese On The HCG Diet - Is It Allowed?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...
