The HCG 500 Calorie Diet Vs. 800 Calorie Diet Protocol!
Back in early 2011 we posted a couple of videos regarding the 800 Calorie Diet Menu. At that time the 800 Protocol was still fairly new, and it sure sounded like a great idea.
Imagine doing the traditional HCG Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) but with a little more food and actually being able to eat breakfast. It is also said that you can lose almost the same amount of weight per day as the original protocol.
I mean who in their right mind wouldn't choose the 800 over the 500 daily calories. Seriously, if given the choice, what overweight person would say nah, I think I'll just take the 500 Calorie Diet Plan.
After doing a bit of research though, it seems that there are a couple of different reasons that more people aren't embracing the 800 Calorie Diet Protocol.
So Why Aren't More People Using The 800 Calorie Diet Plan?
Honestly, I think most people who use the HCG Diet, know nothing about the 800 Calorie Version. For one, I don't believe that a lot of HCG Clinics offer their patients the option between the 800 or 500 Calorie Plan.
Not only that, but the majority of people who use the HCG Diet, spend a lot of money to do it. Which means they want to make sure that they are doing it the right way and because the diet was originally created with a 500 Calorie per day menu, that is what people feel works.
Which HCG Diet Protocol Should You Use, The 500 or 800 Calorie Menu?
Well, I have come to find out that the majority of places that recommend to use the higher calorie protocols, like the 800 or even the 1,000 menu, yes I said 1,000 calories, there is even a protocol that basically doubles the original amount of food, and that is the Homeopathic HCG Companies; which we have been discussing a lot lately on this blog.
If you ask me, it's because these companies know how dangerous it is for people to use their product, which contains virtually zero HCG, while eating only 500 Calories per day.
Of course this is why I always recommend using the Real HCG Hormone Shots, Drops or Pellets. And if you are using Pharmaceutical HCG you should have no problem at all using the 500 Calorie Protocol. Obviously you will lose more weight with the smaller calorie plan. It really sounds scarier than it really is.
However, if you are one of the many people who still insist on using the "not so real" Homeopathic HCG, then without a doubt I would urge you to use the 800 or 1,000 Calorie Diet Plan.
Either way, Real HCG or not, I wish you all the best of luck on your HCG Weight Loss Journeys!
