What Do You Plan On Doing Different This Year?
It's 2014, a new year, and a great time for a fresh new start.
And with the new year comes the annual tradition of making New Years Resolutions - Some people will commit to one main goal, while others try to tackle an entire list.
Some of the most common resolutions people make are:
Eat healthier.
Go to the gym more.
Be a better person.
Quit smoking.
Save more money.
Drink less.
Help the less fortunate.
Learn to play an instrument.
Be more punctual.
Then of coarse there's the most popular New Year's Resolution of all ... To Lose Weight.
And while I think that most people make their resolutions with good intentions, a large majority of them will fail to see their resolution through all the way to the end.
However, I don't think it's because they don't want to - I think it's because they weren't specific enough when they made the resolution in the first place.
For example, instead of making the resolution to save more money, you might make the resolution to save $100 out of each check in a separate account.
Or rather than just saying that you want to lose weight, you could say that you want to lose 25 pounds with the HCG Diet.
This does 2 things:
1. It specifies the exact amount of weight for you to work toward.
2. It gives you a specific program that you will use for reaching your goal.
Now if this is your first time around with the HCG Diet and you don't really know where to begin, let me help you out...
Getting started with your HCG Weight Loss Resolution: The 12 Step Program
1. Pick A Date And Write It Down - Mark your starting date on the calender where you will see it everyday - This will help to get you mentally prepared for the diet.
2. Spread The Word - Tell friends and family that you are going to do the HCG Diet. Be sure to tell them when you plan on starting. This way it will be harder for you to back out.
3. Read The HCG Protocol - You should read Dr. Simeons original HCG Diet Protocol. Make sure you read it front to back. Read it twice if you have to.
4. Order Your HCG - It's best to be under a doctors care while on the HCG Diet. But these days not everyone has that luxury. So if you are getting your HCG online, make sure to order it now. It could take a couple of weeks to arrive.
5. Colon Cleanse - This one is optional, but using a colon cleanse is highly recommended.
6. Take Photo's - Taking before pictures of your body is always a good idea. They may be hard to look at in the beginning, but after the diet you'll be glad that you took them.
7. Measure Yourself - Get measurements of your waist, arms and your legs. The HCG Diet is not only about dropping pounds, it's also about losing inches.
8. Weigh Yourself - This is something that most overweight people refuse to do - But it's something that you must do everyday on the HCG Diet. Plus you need a starting point so that you will know how much you have lost.
9. Start A Journal - You will want to get yourself an HCG Diet Journal. This is good for tracking your weight, or just writing down how you feel. Also, if you hit a plateau you can go back and see if it's something you've done.
