How Men Can Calculate Their Body Fat

Hey Guys, Want To Learn A Formula For Calculating Your Body Fat?

The other day I told all of you women about a way to calculate your body fat for the HCG Diet. So I thought that it would be a good idea to give you men a way to figure out your body fat percentages as well.

The best time to use this formula, is in the morning. Your body weight and waist measurements are the most accurate just after you wake up from having 7 to 8 hours of sleep.

Now keep in mind, the formula below will not calculate your exact body fat percentage. The most accurate way to do this is underwater weighing. But this formula should give you a consistent measurement that you can use as a guideline. And this can at least help you to determine if you're losing body fat.

How Men Calculate Their Body Fat

Factor 1 - Total body weight (Multiplied by) 1.082 (Plus) 94.42
Factor 2 - Waist measurement (Multiplied by) 4.15
Lean Body Mass - Factor 1 (Subtracted by) Factor 2
Body Fat Weight - Total bodyweight (Subtracted by) Lean Body Mass
Body Fat Percentage - Body Fat Weight (Multiplied by) 100 (Divided by) Total bodyweight

Like I said above, this is not an exact science - But it will give you a good idea where you are at and how much body fat you are losing. Or if you want, you can go and try this body fat calculator.
