Feeling Depressed On The HCG Diet

Are You Feeling Down and Depressed Since Beginning The HCG Diet?

Feelings of sadness or depression while your on the HCG Diet is totally normal for some people.

So if you do have one or maybe two days on the HCG Diet where you feel a little bit sad or depressed, don't worry, this feeling does usually go away.

However, although it is completely normal for a person to experience a day here and there where they feel overly sad, it doesn't happen to everybody.

I assume that the reason these feelings happen for some and not others is because you are introducing a low dose of HCG hormone into your body which it is not used to. And when your body starts dealing with things that it's not used to, it reacts differently than normal.

But, because we are all so different and have different types of lifestyles, it doesn't seem to effect everyone the same way. (That is my own theory anyway)

For the most part you are going to feel better than you have felt in a long time. So be strong it should pass -- And just try to keep yourself busy and stick to your diet plan.

However, if it doesn't make sure you are doing something about it.

What you can do to feel less depressed on the HCG Diet:

Exercise: Being active and exercising will help you to feel better physically and mentally.

Talk about how you are feeling to someone: Talking about how you feel is always good for getting some relief from your emotions.

Do things that make you happy: If you love to go for a walk in the mountains, start doing that more regularly.

Now if you are someone who deals with depression on a normal basis and you are wondering whether or not it will become worse with the HCG Diet, it is a possibility.

Some depression can be directly linked to having a chemical imbalance -- So introducing another hormone into your body may cause your body to react. Either way you should try doing the 3 things above to help you feel better.

However, if you feel that your depression is getting worse everyday, I would suggest that you stop the diet immediately and talk to your doctor.

NOTE: If you are feeling depressed because you can't eat all of the crappy food that you have grown to love, don't stress, you can still eat some of those foods again. You will just have to wait until after you work your butt off to get that extra butt off. Of coarse at that point you probably won't want too.
