Starting The HCG Diet Soon? Well Then You Better Shout It From The Rooftops, Right? ... Actually, This Time You May Want To Keep It To Yourself!
It has long been said that when dieting you should tell everyone that you can about your weight loss goals; in fact, I have even suggested doing this myself.
The theory has always been that the more people you tell, the more likely you are to stick with your diet program. In a sense you would be more motivated to lose weight because you wouldn't want to look like a failure to all of those people that you told.
Well now, experts are saying that this method may not be the best plan of action ... Imagine that, experts changing their minds about what actually works! (I'm typing sarcastically of coarse)
So apparently new studies are showing that the more people you tell, the more shameful you will feel if you aren't successful in hitting your weight loss goals. This in turn may make you possibly gain weight.
Plus you won't really know if someone is actually being sincere if they say things like ... "Looks like you've lost a couple pounds"
So instead, what you should do is tell only one or two key people in your family or maybe your closest friend. This way, when you start losing weight people won't be expecting it.
Then when people do pay you a compliment, you will be more likely to believe them; which in turn should help boost your confidence and possibly motivate you even more.
I think that this would work great for HCG Dieters because of the rate in which you lose pounds as well as inches.
And the good news is you can still get all of the help and support that you need from places like our very own HCG Forum.
So this time you might want to think twice before you go telling all of your friends that you are about to start a diet. Who knows, it may actually help you to drop more weight!
