How Many Calories Should You Eat After The HCG Diet?

How Many Daily Calories Should You Be Eating In Phase 4 HCG?

Serving Size CaloriesSo the diet is over. You lost the weight. Then, you successfully stabilized for an entire 6 weeks during the Maintenance Phase.

So what comes next? Phase 4 Life!?! Okay, but what does that even mean?

Does it mean that you simply go back to eating like you did before? How many calories should I be eating on a daily basis during Phase 4?

These are valid questions, and they are questions that most people have after the diet ends. But the protocol tells us not to concentrate on counting calories.

So for the most part these 3 things should be enough to keep you eating the right amount of food without counting calories.

  1. Eat normal size portions.
  2. Eat only when you are hungry, not when you are bored.
  3. Eat until you are satisfied, not until you are stuffed full.

Believe me, just doing these 3 things can be enough to keep you at your ideal weight.

But if you still want to know a specific number that is completely normal. Some of us just feel a little more comfortable when we have an actual number to shoot for. After all, you have worked very hard to get to this point and you don't want to mess it up. And not all of us have the same idea of what normal size portions should look like.

So How Many Calories Should You Eat After The HCG Diet?

If you want an actual number, this is a good amount of calories for you to start with.

  • Women: Daily calories 1,800 - 2,000
  • Men: Daily Calories 2,000 - 2,200

Keep in mind that these numbers are just a tad on the low side. But this is a good place for you to start after the HCG Diet ends. If you feel like it is not enough and you need to increase a bit, do it with about 200 calories at a time.

Of coarse if you happen to be very active person or you have an intense workout regimen, you are going to want to eat more as well.

However, if you are eating less than 1,800 to 2,000 calories per day and you feel satisfied that you are getting enough, you shouldn't try to increase. It really is different for everyone. A satisfactory amount of food for me, might be way too much for you. Size, gender, and a persons lifestyle always plays a role in how much or how little you should eat too.

Remember, you must pay attention to what your body is telling you. If you feel full stop eating. Portion control is a great too to use, but even then, sometimes you get full before your plate is empty and that's okay. Save the rest for another day, feed it to the dog, or as bad as it may be to do this third one, throw it away.

Growing up our moms and dads always told us to clean our plates. But that was just to make sure that you were getting enough to eat. Unfortunately parents don't realize that they are training their kids to always eat until all of their food is gone. When really you should just be eating until you are satisfied, not bursting at the seams. Stopping yourself before you get to that point is a better habit to get into. And now after coming off of such a low calorie diet plan this will be much easier to do.

The Nature Of HCG

The more I learn about the human body and the HCG Hormone, the more it amazes me. Today I wanted to share with you the nature of HCG, or as Dr. Simeons puts it... The Nature of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin "HCG is never found in the human body except during pregnancy and in those rare cases in which a residue of placental tissue continues to grow in the womb in what is known as a chorionic epithelioma. It is never found in the male. The human type of chorionic gonadotrophin is found only during the pregnancy of women and the great apes. It is produced in enormous quantities, so that during certain phases of her pregnancy a woman may excrete as much as one million International Units per day in her urine - enough to render a million infantile rats precociously mature. Other mammals make use of a different hormone, which can be extracted from their blood serum but not from their urine. Their placenta differs in this and other respects from that of man and the grea
