Most Women Want To Get Rid Of Their Extra Pregnancy Weight Right Away - But How Long Should You Wait Until Using The HCG Diet?
We all know that carrying a baby for 9 months can dramatically change the appearance of a woman's body. This physical transformation can have a huge affect on a woman's self esteem as well as her mental state.
So after a woman finally gives birth, it's understandable that she would want to lose weight and get back into shape as soon as humanly possible. And these days a lot of them turn to the HCG Diet for results. However, this can pose a bit of a problem if she is breast feeding her baby.
Now we all know that there are countless benefits to giving a baby breast milk opposed to formula. In fact, unless the baby has an allergy to breast milk, nursing is almost always the healthier choice. This is because of all the nutrients that is passed on to the baby through the mother's milk. And to make sure that the baby is getting everything it needs, the mother should be on a well balanced diet and eating plenty of food.
In fact, babycenter.com says that women who are nursing should be eating at least 500 Calories more than women who are not. So unfortunately, using a diet that allows you to eat a total of just 500 Calories throughout the entire day is probably not a good idea until you are no longer nursing your baby.
And if you are breast feeding, you may have the upper hand when it comes to getting rid of that baby fat. Believe it or not, there are some women who actually lose their pregnancy weight while breast feeding.
But it's important to mention that breast feeding isn't the only reason to put off doing the HCG Diet Program. There are actually a couple of other good reasons for not doing the HCG Diet immediately after giving birth.
Another reason to push back your HCG start date is immunity. Because pregnant women produce so much of the HCG Hormone naturally, if you were to start using HCG for weight loss purposes you would likely build up an immunity.
So How Long After Having A Baby Must You Wait Until You Can Begin The HCG Diet?
There are actually a couple different ways to answer to this question:
1. If you are nursing your baby, you should wait approximately 3 or 4 weeks after you stop breast feeding, until you consider starting the HCG Diet. This is assuming of coarse that you breast fed your baby for 6 months or longer. You should NOT do the HCG Diet while nursing.
2. As you know, pregnancy causes a woman's hormones to go crazy. So giving your body ample time to recover and start getting back to normal before doing the HCG Diet is important. I would say to wait 8 to 9 months if at all possible. But if you simply cannot wait that long, make sure you give it no less than 5 or 6 months before you begin the diet.
Of coarse as with most important issues, there are many different theories on this particular topic. I have come up with these time frames after doing my own research and evaluating various "expert" opinions. You are welcome to do your own research and draw your own conclusions if you'd like.
NOTE: if you want an all natural way to slim down immediately after giving birth, you may want to consider trying out the It Works Body Wrapsthat I have mentioned in previous posts.
